TENNIS COURT KEYS

Remember: OMSC members all get one free key to the tennis courts as part of their membership. If you need to get an additional key, the cost is just $20 per key. Please contact Genevieve Sugalski at oakmeadowtennis@gmail.com to arrange for key pickup.


Progressive Leagues (Men and Women)

Progressive leagues consist of  8 players (and a few subs). You will get the chance to play 3 sets of doubles every week with 3 different players each time.
Oak Meadow Tennis

Challenge Ladder League

Players challenge each other to move up the ladder from March to May. Then again from September to November. At the end of the season, 1st and 2nd place of each ladder play each other for the title at an end of the season party. There are Men's and Women's Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles ladders, Junior/Adult and Junior ladders.

The cost will be $10 an event (Singles, Doubles, Mixed)

Court Usage

Members have access to courts at all times as long as courts are not previously booked.

Non-members can have access for 10$/hours.

Ball Machine

$5 members; $10 nonmembers

Private Tennis Lessons available

  • Private (1/2 hour sessions); Members: 6 lessons – 130$ or $25 for one lesson;  Nonmembers:  6 lessons - $175 or $35 for one lesson

Junior Team Tennis!!

A year round tennis program for our juniors that are serious about tennis.  This will be those that would like to play in the Junior Team Tennis events.  Along with the 2 events a year, we will run practice twice a month (once a month in the summer) practices to prepare our teams.  During practice we will have matches and drills.  This will include all ages and levels as we have a junior size net as well. 


Practices are Saturday at 9-11am.


For one year of Junior Team Tennis at this time (fees are subject to change each year):

Two events, 20 practices

Total: $135 per kid for a year of tennis.  

Parents can have the option to pay for the whole year or in monthly payments

Tennis Lesson Info

JUNIOR LESSONS:

Racquet Rookies

Our Racquet Rookies program is offered to our youngest tennis enthusiasts (ages 3 ½– 5) in 30 minute classes. The Racquet Rookie program focuses on the basic movement, catching, throwing, hitting and balance skills necessary to begin to play tennis. 

Racquet Rookies are $20.00/6 week session.

All other groups are Member: $40.00/6 week session, $30 each additional family member; 75$/65 nonmembers .

Dropins are 10$/lesson.

Sessions will make with 2 or more players and each group is limited to 6 players.  First come first serve.

Prices are subject to change each year.



Future Stars

Our Future Stars program is designed for beginning juniors, aged 5 – 8 years. This class meets for one hour weekly. Special drills and games present tennis fundamentals in an exciting way which builds skills in hand-eye coordination, basic tennis strokes, and love of the game. 

Future Stars Advanced is the same above but more intermediate players.  Usually are playing Junior Team Tennis.

STARS 

Our Stars program is designed for 8-10 year olds that have been playing for a while and are showing more advanced skills on the ’60 court (orange ball).  The class meets one hour weekly.  This group will drill and work on match play.

Aces

Aces program is designed for beginning juniors, aged 8 – 13 years;  This class meets for one hour weekly. Special drills and games present tennis fundamentals in an exciting way which builds skills in hand-eye coordination, basic tennis strokes, and love of the game.


Advanced Aces

Advanced Aces is designed for juniors age 8-13 to improve on the basic skills of tennis including rules, stroke production: forehand, backhand, serves, shot placement, how to hit with spin and preparation for tournament play.  Classes meet one hour weekly.


High School 101

Our High School 101 group meets for 1 hour weekly and teaches the game of tennis to high school aged students who have little to no tennis experience.


Tournament Stars

Our Tournament A Stars are our highest level high school (or nearly high school) tournament players. Sessions are offered weekly for 1 hour.


For all of our 6-week clinic programs, students are allowed one make-up per session due to illness or other reason.


For those players looking to practice their skills on their own, we do have a ball machine available for use, and our court are always available to hit with friends.


LADIES and MEN LESSONS:

6 weeks for $40.00 members/75 nonmembers total.  One hour lesson each. Or dropins for 10$.  You'll need to pay in advance at the first lesson.  Also, I will have a makeup date in case you need to miss a lesson.
